Welcome to Full Cup Apiary, where our bees forage freely among wildflowers, clover, and Appalachian woodland blooms. Nestled in the heart of our fruit & vegetable garden on our family farm, our honey is hand-harvested in small batches and always raw, unfiltered, and never heated—so you can taste every nuance of the land and season in each jar.
Whether you’re sweetening tea, baking from scratch, or looking for a local gift that you can harvest yourself, our honey brings harmony to every home.
At Full Cup Apiary, we believe the quality of our honey starts with the health and harmony of our bees. This year, we proudly welcomed our first nucleus colony from Sevier Bees & Honey in Sevierville, Tennessee—our trusted local experts.
We raise a thoughtfully selected mix of Carniolan and Italian honeybees, two of the most respected breeds in modern beekeeping. Both are known for their gentle disposition, reliable honey production, and ability to adapt to East Tennessee’s seasonal shifts.
Carniolan Bees excel in cooler climates and respond quickly to changing nectar flow. Their calm temperament and strong overwintering abilities make them ideal for our mountain-edge region.
Italian Bees are prolific foragers and excellent honey producers. Known for their adaptability and docile nature, they build large, productive colonies, perfect for our raw honey harvests.
At Full Cup Apiary, we use the innovative Flow Hive system to harvest our honey with the least possible disruption to our bees. Unlike traditional methods that require opening the hive and removing frames, the Flow Hive allows us to collect honey directly from the hive with a simple turn of a key—all without disturbing the brood chamber or exposing the colony to unnecessary stress.
This means:
🐝 Our bees stay calm and undisturbed during harvest
🍯 The honey flows straight from the hive into jars, clean and pure
🌱 It supports a more sustainable, low-impact form of beekeeping
